Intro to RSE 1st Year

This comprehensive resource is designed to support teachers in delivering an introductory Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE) lesson to first-year students. Aligned with the SPHE and RSE frameworks, the pack includes a detailed lesson plan and an easy-to-use PowerPoint presentation to guide teacher-led discussions.

While the powerpoint aligns with HSE lessons from their Relationships and Sexuality 1 unit, there are additional slides created by myself to suit my own classes. The powerpoint is fully editable in Microsoft for ease of re-phrasing/deleting slides. 

The PowerPoint features embedded teacher notes, offering prompts and explanations to support confident and sensitive facilitation of this important topic. While the HSE student printouts are referenced within the lesson, they are not included in this pack due to copyright restrictions. You can download them directly from the official HSE site:
